WHO is my therapy for?

I work with active duty military members, reservists, veterans, spouses or significant others of military members and veterans. Basically, any adult for whom military service has had a significant impact.

Evidenced Based Treatment

I use evidence-based treatments in my therapy, so you know that our work in session will be based on research, not just vibes.

Treatment Modalities Offered:

I’ve been trained in some of the best modalities this field has to offer, all so I can help you thrive. My primary modalities are…

What you can expect in individual therapy with me

All therapy is different because all clients are different. I am committed to providing a unique and tailored approach for each client to honor their unique values, preferences, and intentions in therapy. I encourage you to share about your life, relationships, and struggles so we can work together to identify what behavior patterns are no longer serving you. I’ll offer guidance and support as you gain meaningful new perspectives that motivate change and bolster continued growth over time.

This is not “feel good” therapy.

I work to protect mental and emotional health or wellness, not mental and emotional goodness, and sometimes becoming well doesn’t feel so good. The challenges you are facing are deeply painful and so addressing them in therapy can at times be painful too. My clients often say that they like that I challenge them to rethink ideas and reconsider behaviors that no longer serve them and appreciate that I do so without judgement.
